Swap the caps out on your 2008 Style Super Duty towing mirrors to upgrade the look of your truck in just 15 minutes. These caps are for Ford 2008 Super Duty Style Tow Mirrors (also offered on 2013-2014 F150). Upgrade to painted, chrome, paintable, or textured black caps. All caps are sold as a set (driver side & passenger side).
These caps fit Boost Auto mirrors & other aftermarket mirrors. These caps also fit OEM mirrors if your original mirrors were chrome or painted. If your factory OEM mirrors are fully black (not chrome or painted caps), our caps will not work with your mirrors. OEM mirrors that are fully black have caps that are not removable for this year style.
Fitment: These mirror caps fit the below OEM applications and are compatible with similar aftermarket mirrors fitted for other generations. Cross-reference to Ford OEM part numbers: 7C3Z17D743A, 7C3Z17D742A, 8C3Z17D743AA, 8C3Z17D742AA

Our 2008 Style Ford Tow Mirror Caps directly replace Chrome or Paint Matched factory tow mirror caps only. If your factory tow mirrors are fully black, they do not utilize caps and are instead a single-piece frame with the cap molded on. If you have fully black OEM tow mirrors and would like to change the configuration, we recommend purchasing tow mirrors from Boost Auto HERE.
The paint code for your truck can be found on the vehicle information sticker on the driver-side door jamb. We've attached an image depicting where the paint code is located on the sticker. If you're unsure of your paint code, simply type your vehicle's color.
Yes, as long as those caps are removable and are Ford 2008 Style Tow Mirrors.
- If you select the “Paintable” option, you will receive our paintable caps, which are non-textured, so they are fairly ready for you to paint them. They will not match any vehicle straight out of the box, paint is always required.
- If you select the “Painted” option, you will receive the caps painted from us with no additional work needed on your end. We use your vehicle's VIN and paint code to match it exactly to its factory color.
